A two-season resort — skiing in winter, an escape from the heat in summer
Bakuriani sits in a caldera at 1,700 metres, about two and a half hours from Tbilisi. In winter it is Georgia's family ski resort; in summer it holds 15–25 °C while the lowlands push past 35 — which is why it has become one of the country's favourite heat escapes. Accommodation here leans towards apartments and large family suites rather than standard hotel rooms. Use the live map below for photos, prices and real-time availability.
