Private driver-guide in Georgia
Leave the navigation and driving to us — travel at your own pace with a dedicated local driver.
Families, couples and small groups choose a private driver when flexibility, comfort and stops at places public transport doesn't reach matter most. The driver knows the roads, the changing weather and the good restaurants along the way. GULITRAVEL connects you with an independent local driver-guide — the route, price and payment are arranged directly with the driver; we are not a travel agency.
Why a private driver?
-
Stops whenever you want
Unlike marshrutkas locked to a fast route, you can stop at Zhinvali, Ananuri, Mtskheta or any photo spot along the way.
-
Full flexibility
You decide when to set off — no fighting for a seat, luggage space or fixed public-transport departure times.
-
Relaxed driving on mountain roads
In areas like Kazbegi and Svaneti the road is winding and the weather changes fast. A local driver takes the strain of driving off you.
What's included?
- Pickup and drop-off at your hotel, the airport or the train station
- A comfortable, clean, air-conditioned vehicle matched to the group size and terrain

Frequently asked questions
Do the drivers speak English or Russian?
Most drivers who work with tourists speak basic to good English, and many also speak Russian. You can note your preference in the booking form.
Do we have to stick to a fixed itinerary?
No. The plan is flexible — you can add or shorten stops during the day, and the driver will adjust.
What vehicle do we get?
A sedan or minivan for regular trips. For mountain or off-road routes (Kazbegi, Svaneti) a high 4×4 is provided as needed.
Does the driver come into the sites and guide us?
The driver is an excellent road companion and adviser, but is usually not a licensed guide inside heritage sites. Their role: driving, logistics and orientation.
